Jonathan K. Sullivan is the Founder and CEO of HempDash, Texas's first compliant, on-demand hemp delivery marketplace.
As an ex-Google machine learning engineer with over twelve years of software engineering experience, Jonathan brings Silicon Valley technical sophistication to the rapidly growing but underserved hemp logistics industry.
Before founding HempDash in 2024, Jonathan worked as an ML engineer at Google and held various software engineering roles in the San Francisco Bay Area and Dallas-Fort Worth. He holds a Mathematics degree with a Computer Engineering minor from the University of North Texas and has earned six advanced technical certifications from Udacity, including specializations in Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, React, and Go.
Jonathan built HempDash's entire platform solo over ten months—five production applications, a microservices backend, and comprehensive compliance infrastructure he calls the "SB3 Fortress." This regulatory-first approach creates a defensible moat in Texas's $5.5 billion hemp market, where 7,000+ dispensaries currently lack compliant delivery infrastructure.
HempDash's mission is "Delivering Wellness, Legally and Fast,"combining AI-driven operational efficiency (73% cost reduction through automation) with enterprise-grade compliance technology. Jonathan's vision extends beyond Texas: he's building the compliance infrastructure and operational intelligence layer for the $28 billion U.S. hemp market, with plans for multi-state expansion to Florida and Georgia following the Texas launch in Q1 2026.
Jonathan is based in Dallas, Texas, where he continues to apply machine learning and systems thinking to solve complex problems in regulated industries.
