Cookie Policy. Last updated: August 12, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how HempDash Inc. uses cookies and similar technologies on gethempdash.com and its subdomains (the "Site").

The Site does not use cookies

We set no cookies — not for analytics, not for advertising, not for preferences. There are no third-party analytics or advertising tags on the Site, and nothing here tracks you across other websites. Because we set no cookies, there is no cookie banner and nothing for you to consent to or switch off.

We do mirror part of our own usage measurement to Google Analytics, but that happens on our servers after the page has been served — your browser never contacts Google, and no cookie or persistent identifier is involved. The Privacy Policy sets out exactly what is sent.

What we use instead: session storage

The Site uses your browser's session storage for a small amount of first-party measurement. Session storage is not a cookie: it is never attached to network requests, it is not readable by other websites, and your browser discards it as soon as you close the tab. We store three things there:

  • A random session id — a randomly generated identifier, created fresh in each browser tab. It is not derived from anything about you or your device, and it cannot be linked to you or to a previous visit.
  • How you arrived — the referring link and any campaign tags (utm_source and similar) from the address you landed on, recorded once per tab so we can tell which channels bring people to the Site.
  • "Already counted" markers — short keys that record that a given page or step has already been measured in this tab, so one visit is not counted repeatedly.

These values are used to build the first-party usage measurement described in our Privacy Policy, which explains what those measurements contain.

Your choices

Closing the tab clears everything described above — there is nothing to delete afterwards. You can also block or clear site data in your browser settings at any time; the Site will keep working normally, and only our own usage counts will be affected. Third-party opt-out tools and browser "do not track" signals work by acting on tags running in your browser; because the Site runs none, they have nothing to act on here. That is a statement about how those tools work, not a claim that no measurement happens — clearing your session storage or closing the tab is what actually resets it.

Content loaded from other services

Some Academy lesson media (audio, video, and images) is delivered directly from our content management provider's network, so your browser connects to it to load that media. Booking a demo takes you to our scheduling site on a separate subdomain. These are described under "Service providers" in our Privacy Policy. Neither sets cookies on this Site.

Changes to this policy

If we ever introduce cookies, a browser-side analytics or advertising tag, or any cross-site tracking, we will update this page before doing so and post the new date above.
